The West Virginia Department of Education and the Arts is happy to be replicating Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, www.imaginationlibrary.com, in selected counties throughout the State of West Virginia. With funding provided by the West Virginia Legislature and Governor Jim Justice, the WV Department of Education's Campaign for Grade Level Reading, and some private funding, there are now a total of 40 West Virginia counties participating in the Imagination Library program, and our goal is to expand into the remaining counties in the coming years.

Imagination Library is designed to provide free, age-appropriate books monthly to all eligible children in specified counties. Eligibility factors are age (birth to fifth birthday) and residency in a participating county. Click here to see if your county participates in the program.
