Pam Daniel, Child Nutrition Secretary III/Accountant III

The Raleigh County Board of Education announced its Service Personnel Employee of the Year at a virtual ceremony held April 6, 2020.  Each work location is asked to submit a nominee(s) for the annual award with the group of nominees narrowed to five finalists, one finalist per each of five service personnel classifications.  A selection committee reviews all written submissions and conducts on-site observations/interviews of the five finalists.  Each of the finalists and the employee of the year received generous gifts from the Ford Family Fund through the Beckley Area Foundation.

The 2019-2020 finalists include the following:

  • Kathy Pugh:   Aide Finalist of the Year
  • Alice Matherly:  Child Nutrition Finalist of the Year
  • Michael Collins:  Custodial/Maintenance Finalist of the Year
  • Pamela Daniel:  Office/Clerical Finalist of the Year
  • Greg Daniel:  Transportation Finalist of the Year

During the virtual ceremony, each of the nominees was recognized with Pamela Daniel named the Raleigh County Service Personnel Employee of the Year.  Ms. Daniel has served the students, staff, and community of Raleigh County Schools for 19 years.  She currently serves as a Secretary III/Accountant III in the district’s Child Nutrition Department.  Ms. Daniel will represent Raleigh County Schools in the state-level recognition program.
