School Counseling Week is a timely reminder of the quiet, essential work happening in our schools every day.
This week, we recognize and thank our school counselors for the critical role they play in supporting students’ academic growth, social-emotional well-being, and future planning. Counselors are often the first to notice when a student is struggling—and the steady presence that helps them navigate challenges both inside and outside the classroom.
From individual student support and crisis response to academic advising and career guidance, your work matters more than most people realize—and it truly changes lives.
If you see a school counselor today, take a moment to thank them.
Thank you to our school counselors for your compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to students. Our schools are stronger because of you.

Good Evening!
Just a reminder- our attendance incentive begins tomorrow! Any student with NO unexcused absences AND no more than 1 tardy or early dismissal between January 12-February 20 will earn a trip to WWHS on February 23 to see High School Musical performed by WWHS Theater Dept. Be at school every day and on time! (Any student arriving after 8:05 must be walked in- 8:10 is tardy)
Remember- any time your student is absent, you must turn in a written note to the office (we do not accept phone calls or notes in agendas or on Schoology/seesaw as excuses) You are allowed 10 days per year to use parent notes for excuses!
Thank you all for your cooperation! Have a great evening! See you tomorrow! 😊🐾

Due to inclement weather and today’s remote learning day, please see the attached memo from Superintendent Dr. Starcher of the location change for
the RCBOE’s scheduled meeting for today, December 9, 2025 at 4:30 PM.
We also ask that the principals of the schools for the LSIC Presentations and Student Recognitions to please notify the staff, students, parents and businesses
and let them know it will be rescheduled at a later date.

This month, our school behavior focus is No Hands November! Students will be working on keeping their hands to themselves in all areas of the school—classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and buses. By practicing personal space and self-control, we can make our school a safe and respectful place for everyone. Let’s make November a month of kind words and helping hands that stay to ourselves!
