Raleigh County Schools Wellness Committee Meetings

The Raleigh County Schools Wellness Committee meets quarterly throughout the school year. Contact your local wellness chair, Susan Parsons (susan.parsons@k12.wv.us) or the Director of Child Nutrition, Teresa Baker (tdbaker@k12.wv.us) for upcoming meetings.

Meetings are held at the Raleigh County Schools Child Nutrition Office, Auxiliary Building, 2001 S. Kanawha, Beckley, West Virginia. Meetings are open to all who wish to participate - staff, administration, community members, parents and students.

New!!!! The 2019-2020 Wellness Fair in August was a great success. The wellness committee has chosen to continue with the fair in the fall. Please make plans to join us again in August of 2020. Free school supplies to students that participate in the wellness fair activities. Door prizes, competition on wellness art, exercise activities, food tasting, school participation, haircuts, etc.
