Superintendent Price and the Board of Education Members would like to thank our Custodians for all they do every day to make our schools and facilities shine.

This evening the Raleigh County Sheriffs Department contacted us to inform Us that they had received information that a 14 year old juvenile made threats off campus to shoot up the school at Shady High on Monday. The Sheriffs department conducted an investigation which led to the juvenile being taken into custody and charged with making a terroristic threat. It was also reported to us that at the time the juvenile did NOT have the means to act on the threat.
